In
1976 he was invited by The Friends of Israel to
participate in their summer missionary training
program in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
He enrolled in Bible college, worked part-time
with the Mission, and later directed the summer
program, where he met his wife.
Upon
graduation in 1979, Steve sensed the Lord’s leading
to ministry in the Chicago area.
His ministry included home Bible studies,
personal contacts, and men’s fellowships.
He is also a conference speaker in churches and
teaches the “How-to’s of Jewish Evangelism.”
Beginning
in 1989, Steve directed the Jewish outreach in the
north central states, and in 1991 was appointed
Central States Director.
In this position he led all of our field staff
in 19 states. He
also contributes to Israel My Glory, and has made a Christ
in the Passover video, which is distributed by The
Friends of Israel.
He has written two books on Jewish culture and
customs.
On
March 1, 1996, Steve was appointed Director of
National Ministries and now works from the home
office.
Steve
is married to Alice. They
have four adult children and one granddaughter.
